Our story began when I became a mother and noticed that my daughter was experiencing discomfort and itching after her showers, despite using the gentlest products on the market. It turned out that she was allergic to the chemicals present in those products.

Determined to find a solution, I delved into books on creating natural products, not only for the sake of my daughter but also for the well-being of my family and the planet.

Realizing that other mothers and individuals might face the same problem, I decided to share my products with the world.

No Nasties, Just Simply All Natural:

We take pride in crafting products that contain absolutely no palm oil, toxins, harmful chemicals, synthetic fragrances, or dyes. Even our preservatives, such as elderberry extract and vitamin E, are derived from nature.

The Process:

We employ the cold soap process method, which involves meticulous preparation and a curing time of 4 to 6 weeks to ensure the highest quality and preserve the therapeutic benefits of our botanical ingredients. Each batch is carefully handcrafted, resulting in slight variations between productions.

Superfatting:

To provide your skin with optimal nourishment, we add nourishing, moisturizing, and regenerating oils to our soaps after the saponification process. These excess oils remain in the soap, offering hydration and enriching your skin. Our soaps have superfat levels ranging from 8 to 10%.

The Glycerine:

We retain the precious natural glycerin in our soaps because we believe in delivering the best to you. Glycerin is naturally produced during the cold process, further enhancing the moisturizing properties of our products.

Only Natural Additives:

It is important to highlight that our products are free from palm oil, toxins, harmful chemicals, synthetic fragrances, artificial colors, and foaming agents. Instead, we use pure essential oils for fragrance and natural clays, mineral dyes, herbs, seeds, and hand-processed fruit peels for coloring.

Bath Salts:

Aka Caustic Soda or Sodium Hydroxide. It is an essential ingredient in soap making, it is not possible to make soap without it. 

Sodium hydroxide has been used for centuries in natural soap making and when used correctly, it can help create safe, all-natural products. 

Our Sodium Hydroxide is made from common table salt that is dissolved in water and electrodes introduce electricity into the mix (called electrolysis), creating chloride, hydrogen, and lye.

However, you won’t find Sodium Hydroxide on our labels as it is not present in the final product.
When an oil has saponified (turned into soap), it will get a new chemical name (rather than its original chemical name). 

Whenever a recipe is formulated professionally, the Sodium hydroxide will completely disappear during saponification, whilst turning the beautiful oils and butters into soap.

Dead sea salt (Sodium chloride)

known for its relaxing properties, but also anti-inflammatory. It helps to promote muscle relaxation, thus relieving pain or stiffness in the joints.

Sea Salt (Maris Sal)
Rich in essential minerals that soften, restore and revitalise skin.

Himalayan Salt (Sodium Chloride)
It has a very high mineral content (over 80 different mineral types). This beautiful pink rock salt provides wonderful exfoliating effects and soothes and renews the skin by absorbing dirt and toxins. It also has natural antibacterial properties.

Epsom Salt (Magnesium Sulfate)
High in magnesium which helps to relax stiff and aching muscles.

Black Lava Salt (Sodium Chloride)
Rejuvenates and detoxifies the skin thanks to the charcoal and natural mineral content within the salts. 

 

Water (Aqua)

Glycerine
Naturally occurring during saponification. It is sometimes referred to as the most powerful moisture magnet. Helps to protect the skin from environmental sources of irritation and makes dry skin feel amazingly soft and supple.

Honey (Mel)
Our locally harvested, raw honey offers natural antibacterial and antioxidant properties. It’s excellent for ageing skin and well known for its moisturising and soothing effects. 
Honey is our only ingredient that is classed as Vegetarian, not Vegan.

Colloidal oatmeal (Avena sativa)

Colloidal oatmeal is simply oats ground into an extremely fine powder. Added to bath water, it creates a milky dispersion. Colloidal oatmeal feels silky on the skin, and its moisturizing effects soften and protect your skin.

Activated Charcoal (Charcoal powder)
This fine, black powder is known as the most powerful skin detoxifier that balances excess oil production. 

 

Citric Acid
Natural acid from citrus fruits. It helps improve soap quality.
